There are over 60 NHS dental practices in Wiltshire providing a range of NHS dental health services. You don't have to wait until you have a dental problem to book an appointment though – it’s a good idea to join a practice as soon as possible, as visiting your dentist regularly is one of the ways you can ensure you keep your mouth and teeth healthy.
Three simple steps to a healthy mouth and teeth
1. Brush teeth thoroughly twice a day using a toothpaste containing fluoride.
2. Limit how often you eat or drink anything sugary – it’s best to keep these treats to mealtimes only.
3. Visit your dentist once a year for a check-up.
